Week at a Glance:
In Math:
This week we are working on adding and subtraction decimals with and without rounding. We are working on a Math Menu, where students will work with partners to create a dining out budget. We will have our weekly math quizzes on Thursday this week instead of Friday, since there is no school on FridayIn Science:
We will continuing our Matter Unit. We will be working in Science Stations this week. We will have a mini assessment on classifying matter this week. We are in our fourth week for our Science Vocabulary. We will have our Science Vocabulary quiz on Thursday this week since there is no school on Friday.
General Classroom News:
The students are competing against their houses for a canned food drive to make a donation to the New Braunfels Food Bank. This competition will end on Thursday 9/28/17. The house with the most canned food items will earn 100 points for their house. Thank you for all of your help in supporting with this goal.

The students have their logins for Istation and can use that as extra practice in Math.

From the Seele Office:
NBISD’s Community Education Department is currently registering children and adults for the two fall sessions. Your child can stay after school at select campuses and take tennis or karate. Interested adults can take yoga in the evenings at the Ninth Grade Center. Other off-site classes available to elementary students include music, singing, dance and gymnastics all for a nominal fee.
