Work Hard and Be Kind

Respect Quote this Week

A child that is allowed to be disrespectful to his parents will not have true respect for anyone.

Principal's Message

Learners Are Leaders is a program we started several years ago to recognize our students and their social, emotional, and academic performance throughout the year. Each month we change the criteria to make sure we are recognizing many students and their growth. This month we recognized students that demonstrated "Digging Deeper." These students demonstrated the ability to go above and beyond the expectations in the classroom. Next month, we are looking for persistent, problem solvers. We are looking for more than students that solve problems in math class, but really find a way to find solutions to their problems with friends, classroom concerns, or tangles in their learning. WE also are recognizing one student each month that really demonstrates our focus on RESPECT---Respect for self, respect for others, and respect for property.

Don't forget if you have volunteered at our school and need to log your hours, the link is provided on our new APP/Website

We are hoping our families will log at least 10 hours of support for our school this year.

Looking Back

We survived HALLOWEEN week! This is a crazy time for our kids, but they really did a great job of focusing on class work even when it wasn't easy!

The second graders were able to go to the YMCA for their swimming lessons. We really enjoy our partnership with the Y and are able to give our students some wonderful experiences as a result.
