MINDS, BODIES, AND SOULS
This week's walk throughs noted the use of brain based learning practices as students used dice to write and solve mathematics problems, listened to songs to determine the use of similes and metaphors, and worked in cooperative groups to read and comprehend story passages while also completing graphic organizers. Student discipline continues to be positive in nature as teachers are observed actively praising and encouraging students in the classroom and hallways. The use of Classroom Dojo is also holding students accountable as they work towards reinforcements.
Teachers Make a Difference
How will we be etched into a child's heart in upcoming days? What will our message say about us? What will we leave behind, when we go? Never lose sight of the fact that we are called to do something great. We change lives. We give hope. We give knowledge. Through that knowledge, we give power.
