March 30, 2018
I first must say that it is truly surreal that we are at this time of year!!! I feel like we just began the journey of the 2017-18 school year together. Here we are at Spring Break and the final nine weeks. This is a difficult time to keep normal schedules and focus on studying and reading. Please help your child or children with this by maintaining expectations of school work and regular bedtimes. This will so help with the success of each child as we near the end of school.
Even though rain began our morning, our Heroic Field Day was awesome! Thank you to our PE teachers, Laura Gates and Anna Owens, for planning and organizing this awesome day!!! Thank you to our volunteers--adults, parents, grandparents, teachers, and high school/middle school students, for your support as this could not have happened without you!!! What a day to REMEMBER!!!!
Enjoy the Spring Break! Relax, read, exercise, and visit with family! May your travels be safe and your joyous smiles return to school on Monday, April 9.
Bless you all!
Yours truly,
Jan Ficklin, Principal
