Elephant Seals collect around 40-50 females.


Males battle for mating dominance.


Males return at winter to breed.

Seals mainly preffer:

Fish

And other marine foods

Predators

An Elephant Seals predators are:

Sharks.

Orcas.

And even Humans!!.

Humans usually hunt for Elephant Seals oil.

Humans have once nearly extinced Elephant Seals luckily they weren't.

Adaptations

Elephant Seals have adapted to:

Navigated accuratly to find food.

Staying under water up to 2 hours!

Can dive up to 1500 metres! An average diver can stay submerged under water for up to 30 mins and can only dive Between 300 to 800 metres.

Habitat

The Elephant Seals main habitat is the Northern and Southern areas.

Elephant Seals prefer cold inviroments.
