The week of March 20, 2017
"Achieving Our Dreams through Education"
Thank you for being flexible and for helping out with the ice cream trip. The students who work hard and are working to be respectful and helpful needed to be acknowledge and rewarded. We previously did this with pizza in the cafeteria but I think the kids liked this a little more and it was a fun time.
Our Teach to for March is Playground behavior.
Remember our Teach To's in the the hallway and lining up after recess, also lets reinforce students throwing their trash in the trashcan. If students are going to take a restroom break remind them to put their paper towels in the trashcan.
I have included some useful videos that are teacher and student friendly, although some of the content is for older students. The chocolate video was my favorite. Remember thought that we need to always preview media before allowing our students to take part in it. Students should not have free reign on youtube in your classroom.
Great job to our bball boys, they went to St. Charles catholic school and came home with a victory. Students celebrated finishing the season with coach Roundface with a pizza party, I am proud they finished. Anyone can start something but it does take hard work and commitment to finish.
The time for our annual state assessment is upon us, I have included a useful article below.
