Appear.in is videoconferencing at its best! Use it to share your webcam, microphone, and screen with up to 8 people. It's easy and visually pleasing. There is no Flash, no plug-in, and no sign up. Simply visit appear.in, enter a room name, and share the link with others to get started. There is even an app version for iPhones and iPads.

Ideas for Video Conferences

  • Virtual field trips
  • Guest teachers and experts
  • Interviews
  • Collaboration outside of the classroom
  • Study groups

The Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration is a great place to find other classrooms to connect with, and they cultivate a list of content providers.
