MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL JACKSON
There are some exciting things in the works at FCE! Next year we will have our first ever Innovation Lab! This will be a part of each student’s K-4 specials rotation. Students will experience the Innovation Lab once every 4 days during their specials block. Our inventors will be constructing, creating, collaborating, exploring, thinking critically and problem solving. We have been busy purchasing lots of resources and materials to support this space and we need your help.
We would like to begin to continually collect simple items for students to use. There will be a donation box in the hallway outside of the office to drop off any items you may have laying around the house that we can use to be innovative in the year to come.
Here is a list of suggested items we are looking for:
Markers
Pipe cleaners
Rubberbands
Masking tape
Raw noodles
Clear cups
Toilet paper tubes
Foil
Straws
Toothpicks
Craft sticks
Egg cartons
Washers
Yarn
Rocks
Fishing wire
Fasteners
Bottle caps
Paper plates
Play dough
Tissue paper
Newspaper
Coffee filters
Q-tips
We are excited about this opportunity!! Thank you for any help you can provide!
Thank you to our Students, PTO and Staff Appreciation Committee!
Thank you to our students for all the beautiful flowers, and thank you to our PTO for the meals and goodies you provided to the FCE Staff this past week. WE APPRECIATE OUR PTO!
