Pae Tamariki Kapa Haka Festival

Junior Kapa Haka
The Junior Kapa Haka roopu will be performing on stage at The Regent at 9.20am. This involves our Year 1-3 learners in Learning Space 1, 7, 8, 9 and some LS10 Learners. Please arrange for your child to arrive at school by 8.00am and meet in LS7 and LS8 in order to have them ready in their costumes before the bus departs at 8.30am.
- Children to wear school uniform to school
- They are to bring morning tea in a named container with them, separate to their lunch and water bottle.
- Prior to arriving at school the girls must have their hair styled in 1-2 french braids with no brightly coloured hair ties or clips. (Black is preferable please - if you are unable to do this yourself, please let your class teacher know and ensure they have hair ties and a hair brush with them)
- Only bone or pounamu jewellery to be worn for the performances.
- No make up.
Senior Kapa Haka
The Senior Kapa haka roopu will be performing at 10.20 am and are asked to be at school by 7.45 am. Girls - please have hair done half up - half down style.
- Children to wear school uniform to school
- They are to bring morning tea in a named container with them, separate to their lunch and water bottle.
- Prior to arriving at school the must have their hair styled half up/half down with no brightly coloured ties (black is preferred).
- No make up.
- Only bone or pounamu jewellery to be worn for the performances.
