Family Update
Davis Middle School
Friday, November 19, 2022
Dear Davis Families,
This will be our last Friday Family Update until December 2. I'll pack all of the information in this message that you will need to get us through next week. :-)
I hope your students filled you in on the Veteran's Tribute Assembly that was held on Tuesday. Mr. Ray did an amazing job of planning the event. Our students were excellent in their first Veterans Assembly during their time at DMS. If they didn't mention it, please ask them about it!
Our Student Council is currently running a canned food drive to benefit the Davis and Dublin Food Pantries. This ends on Tuesday. Students should turn in donations to their Irish Period. More ways to give back will be rolled out when we return from Thanksgiving Break.
Finally, in the season of giving thanks, I just want to once again thank you for all that you do to support your students, our teachers and staff, and the Davis community. I am eternally grateful to get to be the Principal here at Davis. It is an amazing place and that is directly related to our students, families, and staff. Thank you!
Go Irish!
Jaime

A Note from the Clinic
We have had a decent number of students being sent home ill from the clinic in the last few weeks. As the weather changes and winter creeps in, please make sure to monitor how your students are feeling prior to coming to school. Students should stay home from school if they have a fever/haven't been fever free for 24 hours. We want to help keep all of our students and staff as healthy as possible.
