School Update
At this time, we are continuing with students on campus as previously communicated. Secondary students are in a hybrid model of Limited In-Person Instruction and Distance Learning. Elementary is in-person, 5 days a week, full days. Preschool is in-person, with a morning program running each day. Please note that when adjustments to our plans are necessary, we will communicate in a timely and clear manner.
Look for a parent survey to come soon from our office as we seek input and perspective from you in regard to our plans and the current dynamics of COVID in our community. For your reference, here is the link to the new Oregon COVID-19 Counties & Risk Levels Map.
In our ongoing effort to keep on-site instruction possible, we remind parents of the understanding to complete daily health checks prior to school attendance every day. Please continue to monitor and screen your student for COVID-19 symptoms (see below). The protocols should be followed when they present signs of illness. Parents must keep their student home and notify the office when a student presents these signs of illness or if there has been COVID exposure.
Thank you for being consistent in partnering with us on our protocols during this time.
We walk in hope; our faith is rooted in trusting the Lord will care for our community. Know that we pray for you and ask the Lord's goodness to be present in your home and our school.
“Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.” Romans 12:12

What is Parent-Teacher Fellowship? Community Connection!!!
Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) Mission Statement: The goal of PTF is to build community within NCCS, to enrich our school and the lives of our students, and to provide extra support to teachers and staff. We also hope to use this group to reach and bless our community.
NCCS offers a family atmosphere, but connecting right now with each other can be hard. PTF is a group that works to foster a family environment by offering opportunities to come together as parents and staff. Are you looking for a way to connect with teachers and other parents? This is your opportunity!
In the next couple of weeks, members of PTF will be reaching out to every family in our community. We want to hear from you! We will talk with you about...How can we pray for your family? How can we support you? Are you interested in connecting with others in our community by getting involved?
Join PTF to share ideas or donate supplies...Our committee would love to have others join us any way they can! There are occasional meetings, but it can be as simple as donating food or supplies, hanging flyers, setting up or cleaning up after events, etc. Because we all lead busy lives, we try to communicate through email as much as possible.
If you have an interest in joining PTF, please feel free to reach out to anyone on our committee:
Rebekah Hardy (Administrative Liaison/NCCS Teacher/Parent)
Debbie Stark (NCCS Preschool Teacher/Parent)
Erika Porter (NCCS Alumni/Board Member/Parent)
Sarah Wiese (NCCS Alumni/Board Member/Parent)
Stefanie Tewalt (NCCS Alumni/Board Member/Parent)
