Todd's Tidbits
Hooch Community,
I hope this newsletter finds you and your family in good spirits! Because you have received information this week via an email blast, I only wanted to share that we have a tentative plan to do a drive-thru style exchange of materials for SENIORS ONLY. We anticipate beginning May 6th and continuing until all items are distributed. More direction will be given to Seniors/Parents providing information on their scheduled day/time slot, but the following is the tentative plan:
- Seniors who have decided to take their grades as of May 1 and are finished working for the year, provide us with any school issued materials, which would include such things as textbooks, devices, Media Center books, classroom checked out equipment (i.e., cameras used for Photography class OR Yearbook/Speculator).
- We will exchange those items with Caps/Gowns, Honor Chords, Yearbooks (if purchased OR purchased on site).
- Diplomas and Covers will be released after our Virtual Graduation.
- SENIORS needing to keep their devices to continue working will be able to obtain their Caps/Gowns and Yearbooks as necessary but will not receive Diplomas and Covers until they return ALL school items.
- Seniors need to complete the district mandated exit survey by May 4th. The survey will serve as a requirement to picking up their Caps\Gowns https://forms.gle/e3AugWNfeTnMAW289
- Personal affects left in lockers by ALL students 9-12 will be something we work on at a later date.
- Communication on returning items by 9-11th grade students will be coming soon.
Again, I can not reiterate my appreciation for you continued patience and flexibility during this time!

Get Involved in Service
We have a student group working to be leaders to support our local community...
We have a school chapter of Feed the Frontlines GA (FTF), a non-profit which is raising money to purchase meals from local restaurants to deliver to hospitals for front-line healthcare workers across Georgia. The entire organization was founded and ran by high school, college, and medical students working together to help our community. The mission of FTF is to show appreciation to Georgia front-line healthcare workers and support local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Donations from students and parents will be collected via Venmo @FTFga with our school name in each donation description.
Yearbook
The CHS yearbook is finished and is being printed as I type this email! They will arrive at the school in a few short weeks and at that time, we will communicate to you how and when to pick yours up. If you are uncertain if you have already purchased a yearbook, you can check this list. If your name is not on the list, but you have purchased a yearbook, please contact yearbook adviser Briana Harrison and send her a picture/screenshot of your yearbook purchase receipt.
Since this year is certainly one that will be remembered for the current events, be sure you don't forget about all of the wonderful events and memories of Chattahoochee High School's entire 2019-2020 school year that the yearbook staff has worked so tirelessly to chronicle in this year's yearbook. There still are a handful of limited edition copies available and you can order yours here.

Thank you to our entire community for your hard work. This is further proof Chattahoochee High School is the best High School in Georgia.
