Democracy Cafes

What are the political parties foreign policy positions? What are their plans to reduce student debt? Find out Monday as the WSU Democracy Cafes launch. At 10:30 a.m. Carl Herrin of the presidents office will discuss Foreign Policy in C320, the Fallon Room. At 11:30 a.m. Dr. Bonnie Orcutt, economics department, will discuss Student Debt in C318, the Foster Room. Each cafe host will review the topic then compare the major parties positions on it. The cafe will then open for discussion. The library staff is creating issue handouts for each cafe, and the presidents office is supplying coffee. These Democracy Cafes are two of the 26 non-partisan, pop-up information sessions, appearing in venues all over campus from Oct. 17-28. They'll last no more than an hour and when they're gone, they're gone. Find the full schedule at bit.ly/democracycafes.
