Love T. Nolan Elementary

Looking for an experienced elementary physical educator with a lot of innovative ideas? You should visit Jackie Mitchell-Jones at Love T. Nolan in College Park, Georgia. Students have been enjoying the fitness unit through station activities (mountain climbers, planks, wall push ups, and flexibility stations). The warm up activity was "Jump and Jog" - students were with a partner and while one partner jumped rope, the other one jogged around the room. Students enjoyed the lesson about flexibility using a Tootsie Roll! Email Mrs. Mitchell-Jones for details!

Bethune Elementary

Bethune is located in College Park, Georgia. Marcus Green and Levi Lawson team-teach on Wednesdays. P.E. classes begin with an energetic warm up with Mr. Green consisting of calisthenics and dancing! Students then worked in activity stations that develop their fitness and teamwork. Students enjoyed the step ups and how they could increase the difficulty by trying the higher mats like Mr. Lawson. Want more information about the fitness stations? Email Mr. Green - or Mr. Lawson -

I had our community representative speak with the students, and we made post cards for the children at the local hospital. This is in addition to the great things that JRFH does to enhance our program. You can also do the Hoops for Heart in the Elementary School! Please check out or
