Getting Back To Normalcy

The first week back to school after a break is always hard. You have to wake up early, get your brain juices flowing by 8 a.m., adhere to a routine, and follow your teacher's expectations and guidelines. And to top off this year's return, we were minus an awesome writing teacher that so many have grown to love. But through all these hardships, last week was quite successful and I am very proud of all my students. Yes, we had to go over rules and expectations that were forgotten over the 2 week hiatus, but that was to be expected! =) Now, I can't wait for this week to begin and the normalcy of school life to settle back in!

Your students will continue to have Ms. Peterson as their writing substitute this week and the new addition to our team will begin Tuesday, January 22! I will provide more information about her arrival as I get it! But please know how very excited we are to welcome her to McGowen. She has a ton of wonderful things in store for your precious children!

Much Love,

Destine' Grobe
