Mrs. Brannon's students study the Civil War!!!

A day in the Civil War!!!

Ms. Brannon’s Advanced 10 U.S. History class reenacted the Civil War. The battle was fierce with the Union performing a skit while the Confederacy taught about their strengths and weaknesses in regards to the economy, commanders, and military strategy. It was a close battle, but once again, the Union was declared the victor. The students used props and dressed their part. It was fun, funny, and educational.

Lee Edwards presents to the class in a general's position.

UNION:

Through the use of research and collaboration, my group of fellow students were able to put on a real-life skit in the form of a meeting about the impending Battle of Gettysburg. Under the command of President Abraham Lincoln, myself (Ulysses S. Grant), and my fellow Union generals, we were able to comprise a battle plan of attack from our recent failures which resulted in the victory at the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863.
