NEWS FROM THE LANDRUM GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT
Landrum Middle School 8th Grade Student Families,
Ponte Vedra High School will be visiting with our 8th grade students Friday, December 9 to present information about their academies (Biotechnology and Medical Research, International Business and International Marketing and Information Technology). This presentation will focus on Ponte Vedra High School’s academy opportunities, for information on other high schools academy programs please view the districts information page here. This year’s High School Showcase will be December 14 at World Golf Village. The High School Showcase is a great opportunity to learn about our School Districts High School academy programs. On Friday, November 18th, more than 50 Landrum Middle School students competed in the Annual Landrum Science Fair. Over 40 projects were judged in five different categories.

The Landrum Middle School 8th grade graduation trip to Universal Studio will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 am. SHOEBOXES OF LOVE TO BENEFIT THE CITY RESCUE MISSION
Shoeboxes of Love is back! Mrs.Rocha is collecting Shoeboxes of Love for the City Rescue Mission. Grab an empty shoebox, fill it up with necessities, wrap it with a blanket, scarf, wrapping paper or decorations. You can fill up the shoebox with cans of food, hand warmers, socks, gloves, wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste, snacks, book, anything as they will be able to open it before Christmas. Shoeboxes of Love’s last day is December 15th. Last year more than 500 boxes were collected. Let’s break that goal!!!! Get your community, your teams, or your family together to do this.
