First Robotics Team 2220 Blue Twilight
FIRST Robotics Team 2220 Blue Twilight at Eagan High School has a sister robotics team (Team 7851 NeuraBl!nk) that we have visited several times at their home school in Kyiv Ukraine with our other sister team (Team 5883 The Spice Gears) from Krasnik Poland (near the border with Ukraine). Twice we toured Ukraine with NeuraBl!nk as part of Blue Twilight’s ”Robots Without Borders” initiative, presenting at robotics conferences and holding robotics learning camps for Ukrainian children. Unfortunately, our friends in Kyiv along with the other robotics teams in that area have scattered in the face of Russian bombing and their whereabouts and safety are unknown.
Team 2220 participated in a Ukraine Humanitarian Aid drive with St. Katherine’s Ukrainian Church and the East Side Neighborhood Services in Minneapolis, and are currently holding fundraisers for Ukraine and the Ukrainian refugees taking shelter in Poland. We will finish collecting monetary donations on March 20th with a grocery bagging at the Cub Foods West on Cliff Lake Road in Eagan from 10am to 4:00pm. We are asking community members to come in and pick up a “We Stand With Ukraine” button ($5 donation suggested) to help us raise money to be sent to relief agencies in Ukraine and Poland.
Monetary donations for Ukraine will also be accepted by mailing a check made out to “EHS FIRST Robotics Booster Club” (write "Ukrainian Aid Drive" in the check Memo field) to:
EHS FIRST Robotics Booster Club
PO Box 21581
Eagan, MN 55121-0581
100% of the donations will be combined with others and sent to purchase items to fill humanitarian aid needs in Ukraine and Poland.

Face Masks No Longer Required At Eagan High School
We are still providing masks for students, staff and visitors. We will support students, staff and visitors who continue to wear masks - respecting the choice to do so.
COVID-19 Data Shared on Dashboard
Specific COVID-19 information, including data of student positive cases, school-specific cases, county cases and vaccination rate, is updated weekly on our COVID-19 Dashboard available on all school websites. (Be sure to scroll down the site until you can click on High Schools). School COVID-19 teams will no longer send case notifications to families. Families must maintain personal mitigation efforts, with or without a notification , and direct their attention to monitoring symptoms, keeping students home when sick and frequent screening as necessary.
We need all community members to care for each other and their community by practicing universal precautions:
- Monitor for symptoms every day
- Stay home when sick and test
- Get vaccinated and boosted as soon as you are eligible
- Test frequently for COVID
These mitigation strategies are repeated frequently to members of our learning community, but remain the most effective strategy. We recommend parents to check the COVID-19 dashboard regularly for updates, as well as using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s daily county case rate tracker.
