Dorothy Must Die
Amy Gumm, a high school student, discovers that the Land of Oz is real and it is her responsibility to defeat Dorothy, who has now become dictator of the magical land. One day a tornado whisks her trailer away and she finds herself in the land of Oz. Oz has been twisted into a dark, misshapen dimension and even the lovable characters such as the Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, and the Tin Woodsman have been altered into power hungry and terrible creatures. She's been recruited by the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked with one mission and one mission only: Dorothy must die.
I was very excited to read this book. I mean a retelling of the Wizard of Oz where Dorothy is evil has got to peak your interest. This book is addictive; I couldn't put it down. The ending came by and it left me screaming for book 2! Anyone looking for a fantasy book: I recommend this!

"Me Before You" Movie Review
Me Before You, the big screen adaption of Jojo Moyes’ best selling novel of the same name, portrays an unlikely love story between Lou Clarke (Emilia Clarke) and Will Traynor (Sam Claflin). In this movie adaption, Emilia Clarke plays a creative, talented, and high-spirited 26 year old who has lost her job at the local cafe. With no other prospects, she is forced to take a job as a caretaker for a quadriplegic, wealthy, and bitter 35-year old man named Will Traynor. Naturally, Lou’s and Will’s relationship starts out rocky due to Will’s bitterness and resentment over being disabled, but under Lou’s care Will gradually becomes more open-minded and communicative. Just like any other love story, the duo’s romance becomes stronger throughout the adventures they go on. Me Before You is a love story and a family story, but above all it’s a story of the bravery and courage needed to get back onto the path of a life once it’s been pushed off course.

Pizza Pinwheels
-1 cup warm water
-1 TBSP yeast
-1 TBSP sugar
-1 TBSP oil
-1 tsp salt
-2 1/2 - 3 cups flour
-1 1/2 - 2 cups pizza sauce (pasta works too) + more for dipping
- 2 cups total pizza toppings
Directions
Combine warm water, yeast and sugar in a mixing bowl and let sit for about 3-4 minutes, until yeast is bubbling up. Add in oil, salt and flour. Start with 2 1/2 cups of flour, then add more until the dough cleans the sides of the mixing bowl. (I use a mixer for this part as it makes it just so much easier!) Continue mixing for an additional 3-4 minutes, then cover with plastic wrap and let sit in a warm place for 15 minutes. In cold weather, I like to turn my oven on for about 3 or 4 minutes, then turn it off and let my dough rest in the oven. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray countertop with non-stick cooking spray and roll dough out into a large rectangle about 1/4″ thick. Top with Ragu® Pasta Sauce and spread to coat dough. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese.
Add pizza toppings: I did a section of dough for pepperoni pinwheels, another section with just cheese and a third with ham and pineapple. Top with another 1 cup of cheese. Starting with one of the long sides of the rectangle, roll dough up tightly, pinching the seams to close at the end. Use a sharp, thin knife to cut 1 1/2″ sections of dough from the large roll. This will result in about 15 pinwheels. Set pinwheels on a large greased baking sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Return to oven for an additional 1-2 minutes, until cheese is melted and rolls are just beginning to turn golden brown. Serve hot with warmed Ragu® Pasta Sauce to dip on the side.
Muhammad Ali: The Boxing Legend...and Much More
On June 3rd, 2016, the world was greatly saddened by the loss of boxing legend Muhammad Ali. He was not only remembered as an exceptional boxer, but also as a fervent activist and humanitarian. Born Cassius Clay in 1942, Ali started training when he was 12 years old, after he vowed to beat up the person who stole his bike. That challenge led him to a life dedicated to boxing. When he was just 18 years old, Ali won a gold medal at the 1960 Rome Olympics for light heavyweight boxing. Ali refused the Vietnam War draft due to his beliefs against the war. He lost all of his titles, his passport, and boxing licenses as a result. However, in 1971, the Supreme Court ruled in Ali's favor. He continued to win back the titles he had lost. In 1984, Ali announced he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He went on to create The Muhammad Ali Parkinson's Center in Phoenix. In June, Ali was hospitalized due to respiratory problems. He died at the age of 74. Many remember him as a inspiration for human dignity, human rights, and much more. Muhammad Ali will be greatly missed by all.
