Nurse’s Notes
Please plan ahead for your 6th grader to obtain his or her required 7th grade vaccinations for next fall. Students are required to have a Tdap booster (within the last 5 years) and one meningococcal vaccine before starting 7th grade. Once these vaccinations are obtained, a copy of his or her updated vaccination record signed by the doctor is needed in the clinic. Some 6th graders have already received these vaccines and are ready to start 7th grade; however, the majority have not, so make your appointments as soon as possible with your child’s doctor! If you have any questions at all, please contact our nurse, Christie Camizzi, RN, at (469)752-6209.
