Another year in the books....This newsletter is the most important yet, read carefully!!
Banquet was a success! Thank you to all how helped contribute to the process. Even though this year was unique in nature, it was fun to reminisce about all the good times we had this year!
Click the Banquet resource link button below to download all resources for keepsakes. We will close that link in a few weeks, so don't miss out!
If you received an award from the Banquet, we will be taking this week (Tuesday) to drop off awards to your houses. We may even share an Instagram post (or 100) about our travels.

Uniform Fitting Information: VERY IMPORTANT
Fittings have begun! This is an exciting time as we look towards marching season and the particulars of our new marching show!
We have been asked to get each band student (including guard) measured for their overlay jackets and guard uniforms. We have a new deadline to get these done by June 4th. Please extend your patience to us as we are trying our best to figure out how to get this done, while staying safe and abiding by COVID guidelines.
After much discussion, and getting advice from an MD, here's the plan.
We need specific measurements for our custom pieces (see picture and guide below). We will need EVERY band and guard student AND their parent to sign up for a time slot to measure your student. You will need a sewing tape measure (not a tape measure used for construction). We will walk the parent through how to measure your child as we are on a zoom meeting. If you do not have a measuring tape, please let us know asap. We have ordered disposable paper measuring tapes for this purpose and will get one to you.
Also, returning students need to try on either their show shirt from last year or their red "M" shirt while on the zoom call so we can see how it fits.
As we have over 215 students to measure, please be ready to go and prepared at your designated time slot. This will enable us to get all of the students measured in a timely manner. The sign ups are broken down into 20 min slots. Once you sign in to the zoom, you will be put in the waiting room. As soon as we are available, we will call you into a break out room to be measured. The zoom link will be sent closer to the fittings.
Times we are available for Zoom meetings:
Sunday May 31 - 1pm to 5pm (Paige and Kara)
Monday June 1 - 9am to 11am (Paige) and 1pm to 3pm (Kara)
Tuesday June 2 - 9am to 11am (Paige) and 1pm to 3pm (Kara)
If for some reason you are not able to meet via zoom, or have other concerns, please reach out to us. We will make accommodations as we are able.
Here's the sign up link:
This chart should explain the measurement picture attached:
A = Girth
B = Chest
C = Waist
D = Hip
E = Inseam
Please forward all questions to the uniform email below. This will keep Mr. Treadwell's inbox less cluttered. Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we are doing our best to think outside the box to meet this deadline! And, thank you all for supporting your student in band!

I hope that it is clear we are being as transparent in this process as we can and are all working to find solutions for everyone.
***Understand that this is a point of high stress for every director/travel agency in the country at this point. I do not have all the answers but you can rest assured that taking care of our families is the highest point of focus right now and doing right by you is my highest priority. I am doing EVERYTHING in my power to protect you and find solutions. If you reach out to me with trip questions, I will respond as quickly as I can within 24-48hrs. Important information for Private lesson students/teachers
We are HIGHLY ENCOURAGING families who take private lessons to communicate with their teachers and work to the best of their ability to continue lessons remotely through Skype, Facetime or work out home lessons.
If you feel that you do not want to risk it, then we suggest "donating" your normal lesson fee's and working with your teacher to reschedule as necessary.
***This suggestion is for your discretion***:
We want to make sure that you are aware that teaching privately in some cases is the only source of income for many of our teachers. Any week/day that school is cancelled directly impacts their livelihood. Our teachers also have mortgages, rent, bills and groceries to take care of. Please keep this in mind when making your decisions.
