COME TOGETHER IN PRAYER

PRAYER is a primary work of God's people. It is a vital connection to God where we can hear from, listen to, and respond to the Lord. We encourage you to pray for these requests during the week. "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer". (1 Peter 3:12)

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Hank Welch is experiencing serious medical concerns.
  • Virginia Benenati, mother of Tim, has recently been diagnosed with cancer.
  • Linda Wisnewski continues to improve and has been moved to a rehab center.
  • Protection for our military, law enforcement, first responders, revival in America, and God’s wisdom for the President and political leaders.

ELDER OF THE WEEK

  • Kevin Westbrooks, his wife, Laura, and their adult children Bryana, Frank, and Lindsey.

PASTOR OF THE WEEK
  • Tim Arrington, his wife, Kathy, and their adult children Aubrey (Eleon) Rodriguez and Daniel (Ashley).

CHURCH OF THE WEEK

Abiding Savior Lutheran Church

Prayer Request: Pray that we listen to God's direction for the church. Pray also for Maldonado Elementary School where the families have many needs.

There are more concerns within the body at Christ Community Church. Please come to the Lobby Counter on Sunday for a more complete and detailed list of the people who are in need of your prayers. Contact Pastor Rick to update the Prayer List.

MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH

Galo & Joanne Vasquez

VELA - (Vision for the Evangelization of Latin America)

Vela Ministries, has been involved in the development of Vision 20/20, which is a national plan of evangelism to take advantage of the new open doors to preach the Gospel and establish new churches across Mexico and Latin America.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for Galo as he plans conferences and travels into Venezuela to produce these conferences to encourage church leaders there.
  • Pray for God’s wisdom as we consider requests to open VELA branches in Bolivia, Puerto Rico, and Ecuador. Please pray that God would lead us, and provide the staffing and funding if these additional branches are to be opened.
  • Please continue to pray for the expansion of our training center. The basic building is complete; however, we still need to furnish the building, and make it presentable with paint, tile, and equipment.
  • Pray with us for Mission 20/20! We long to see 20% of the Mexican population come to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus by the year 2020. During that year we are planning several evangelistic Festivals in Mexico City to draw an even greater number into the Kingdom of God.
  • Pray for the Festival in Monterrey October 5-7 with Franklin Graham. Pray for each person who will be attending, that God will prepare their hearts to receive the message. Pray for Franklin as he prepares to deliver the message the Lord would have him deliver.
CCC contributes to the financial support of 19 missionary couples, 3 individuals, and 6 missions agencies in the United States and 11 foreign countries. [Click Here] for more information.
