LIS Tiger Talk
May 5, 2023
Principal's Update
Tiger Families,
It's a great week to be a Loveland Tiger! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who continues to make Loveland Intermediate School a great place for our students.
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We have some special things planned for staff each day. We would like to encourage our students to take a moment to write a note, send an email or express their gratitude in some way to their teachers this week. We are extremely fortunate to have an amazing staff who are all about doing what is best for our Tigers. Let's show them some love next week:) If you want to contribute to the festivities in any way, let me know.
Go Tigers!

Tiger Trot
The LIS 2023 Tiger Trot was a huge success. A big THANKS to Mrs. Sowers, Mrs. Cappelletty, and Mrs. Renock for keeping our LIS Runner's Club going after Mr. Federman's retirement. The Tiger Trot was a great event for all ages. Mrs. Carter tried to keep Lincoln in sight but didn't have a chance!

LMS Fall Sports
Attention current 6th and 7th-grade parents that have a student that is interested in playing sports at Loveland Middle School for the 2023-24 school year...
It is time to sign up for those teams in Final Forms! This is not a full commitment, but rather showing interest in the sports.
Please see the attached document for step-by-step guidance on how to complete this process.
Also - Mark your calendars for Monday, May 15th @ 6:00 pm. We will be having a Fall sports preview night in the LMS Gymnasium. This will allow you and your student-athlete to hear about the Fall sports at LMS as well as hear directly from coaches about summer programming and the start of the season. We hope you can attend!

A small sling bag/backpack is great for carrying their lunch, drink, and any other weather appropriate items (rain coat, hat, etc). Coordinating with school policy, technology should remain at home or in the student's locker.
