Character Trait of the Month: ASSERTIVENESS
Assertiveness is one's ability to clearly communicate his/her thoughts and opinions. As we celebrate the character trait of the month, students are learning about disability history and bullying prevention.
10/19: Inside Out

"Dress as a character with positive character traits"
10/21: Salem Spirit Day
"Salamanders are bully and drug free!"
10/24: Pajama Day
"Reach for your dreams"
10/25: Superhero Day
"I have the power to be a HERO"
(Help, Encourage, and Respect Others and me)
10/26: Red Day
"Go red to support red ribbon week"
Blue Tickets in the Cafeteria
Students will be given a blue ticket when they demonstrate responsibility and respect to others in the cafeteria. Look out for some SPOT ON behaviors!
