11:00 Wedding Ceremony

12:00 Old Home Day Festivities

Following the ceremony at the church, we'll return to the recreational field to enjoy the Old Home Day activities. In lieu of a formal reception, we would like to invite you to join us for a relaxed day of music, picnicking, field games, beautiful scenery, and good company. There are games for kids and adults, including bingo, cross-cut saw contest, and a frying pan toss! There is an entertaining charity auction in the afternoon.

...This is a casual affair! Please dress comfortably for a day outside. You'll be in the mountains, so even if it is a nice day, please bring a jacket or a change of clothes!

...There is plenty of free parking at the Belvidere Recreational Fields. It is a short walk from the Fields to the Belvidere Community Church (.15 mile). If you prefer to drive to the ceremony, there is parking on the street near the Church or at the Mountain View Tabernacle Church next door.

...If you are looking for local lodging, we would recommend Stowe (40 minute drive to Belvidere) or downtown Burlington (50 minute drive to Belvidere).

...Our life is full of blessings and your friendship is the only gift we hope to share.

...Belvidere is off the grid. We have no cell phone service! If you need to reach us, please call us at 802-644-2784.

...There is no need to RSVP.

Food and Drink...

...simple refreshments are sold at Old Home Day (burgers, hot dogs, fries) as a fundraiser for the Belvidere Community Club, which maintains the rec fields.

...sodas and water are also available for purchase.

...low-key BYOB is permitted at Old Home Day.

...you might want to pick up a picnic meal from a local restaurant on your drive in. Our favorite spot is the Cupboard Deli (see link below).

About Belvidere, Vermont...

...Nope, you've probably never heard of this little town (population 294). It's nestled in a beautiful valley in Northern Vermont. We're pretty far away from everything and we're not on the way to anywhere! Belvidere is a relaxing destination. We have two covered bridges and numerous beautiful vistas. There is one business: Tallman's Store. Stephanie's family has lived here for generations and she attended the one-room elementary school for six years. This place is small! Since you probably won't be able to pick it up here, bring anything you might need with you!
