ISTEP+
Monday: Math Section 1
Tuesday: ELA Section 1
Wednesday: ELA Section 2
Thursday: Science Section 1
Please do not stress about the test. I just expect my students to do their personal best. They've worked really hard all year and will be fine!
Here are a few helpful tips that will support your child:
• Establish an early bedtime routine, to ensure that your student receives at least 9 hours of sleep each night.
• Make sure your student eats a healthy breakfast before school. “Brain food” includes fruit, eggs, toast, oatmeal… no sugary pastries or cereals, please.
• Be positive about the test! Don't put undue pressure on your student's performance.
• Reassure your child. Let him know that s/he just needs to do his best.
There will be no homework and spelling during ISTEP+!
