The 2×10 strategy: a miraculous solution for behavior issues?
More Professional Development for You!
Do I refuse to accept failure, make excuses for failure, or allow failure to occur in my school? You must make it known throughout the building that failure is not an option at your school. If you find that your school is replete with daily crises or that your students’ lives are in constant chaos, will you still be ready and able to face the primary challenge of ensuring that your students receive adequate instructions? It’s very easy to become distracted by the problems your school community faces or compelled to focus your energy on interviewing in your students’ personal lives. You simply cannot afford to let whatever issues are consuming your school to sideline you from a single-minded focus on improving student achievement. You must convince yourself that despite the challenges, your school will be successful largely because you’re the leader.
