- The next SAT will be administered in March (which will be taken by all Juniors). In order to be well prepared, LHS is offering a SAT prep class for students. Ms. Kim Belvin will be teaching a ten day course that will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 9th through February 8th. The class will take place during lunch. The cost is $175.00 which includes the book that will be used for the course. If you are interested in having your student take the course please have them stop by the Career Center to pick up a form. The form, along with the payment, must be complete in order to reserve a spot in the class. We will be opening the class to 27 students and the deadline to sign up is December 22nd. If you have any questions please reach out to Traci Hazlegrove, College and Career Readiness Liaison at tlhazlegrove@smcps.org or (301)475-0200 ext.27139.

Other Information...
- Schools will be closed for Winter Break December 25th - January 1st.
- We have received, reviewed, and processed a record number of parking permit applications this year. Our student parking lots are currently at capacity. Parking permits will no longer be issued to 11th grade students for the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year. 12th grade students may still apply for parking permits, but parking permits will not be issued to 12th grade students unless parking spots become available. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience this may cause to LHS students and their families. Please direct any questions regarding parking to Mr. Readyhough at ecreadyhough@smcps.org.
