Mrs. Seabrook's Weekly Update
September 14-18, 2020
What an exciting week!
This week we started so many new apps and programs that we will be utilizing throughout the year. We discussed and reviewed the short /a/ sound, as well as the ending /ck/. In math, we began our addition unit, and our STEM connection was all about studying the body parts of animals that help them to survive.
We also had two special birthdays! We hope you enjoyed your special days, Sean and Nyla!
Seesaw Activities
It has been so fun using Seesaw! We use our Seesaw app during Literacy centers to reinforce what we have learned during our whole group time. Sometimes, we will record ourselves reading our work to show you!
We typed the final draft of our animal fantasy story on Seesaw on Friday! When we were done typing, we recorded ourselves reading it. Be sure to look for it!
