Outside Recess
Despite the wacky weather, students have been able to spend more time outside:-) Mrs. Ollanketo, our Building Educational Attendant (BEA), does a fabulous job of keeping an eye on the forecast in order for grade levels to play outside between the mist and raindrops.
As we have increasing better weather, we are always looking for new ideas to incorporate on the playground. Please feel free to email Mrs. O. (ollanketo_allison@dublinschools.net) or Mrs. Davis (davis_jennifer@dublinschools.net) to share your innovative thoughts.
Character Strong
Utilizing our social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum resource, Character Strong: Purposefull-People, Thomas students will study the character trait PERSEVERANCE during the month of April. Perseverance means persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. We want our children to be able to work through situations even when there are obstacles or challenges in their way.

Kindergarten Information Night
On Tuesday, April 19th from 6:30-7:30 p.m., we will welcome incoming kindergarten families to Thomas Elementary. Parents/Guardians will gather to hear about the kindergarten experience! We are super-excited to be able to meet in person and share about the 2022-2023 school year!

District Information
Change to High School Schedule on April 13
Due to testing in our high schools on April 13, there will be no working Wednesday schedule on that day. On April 13, all high school students will start their day at 7:55 a.m. and end at 2:42 p.m.
Be Well set for April 30
Be Well will feature free informational sessions for community members focused on student and family mental well-being. Our registration window is now open! Click here to register for sessions you would like to attend on April 30.
Students are invited to attend the Career, Job, & Internship Fair
The Dublin City Schools Work in Dublin Career, Job and Internship fair is set for Tuesday, April 12 at Scioto. The event is at 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and transportation will be provided for students who wish to attend during the school day. This is a great opportunity for students to find a summer job, get started in their career or get an internship opportunity in a field they are interested in.
