Summer Fun

Ways to Keep Busy This Summer!

A Book is a Great Escape

Reading is a great form of entertainment! You can take a book anywhere and you’ll never be lonely or bored if you have a book in your hand. Reading develops our imagination. This is because when we read our brains translate the descriptions we read of people, places and things into pictures. When we’re engaged in a story, we’re also imagining how the characters are feeling. We use our own experiences to imagine how we would feel in the same situation. If you're looking for something to read check out the suggestions by clicking the lists below.

Milltown School's New Digital Reading Platform

We are excited to announce a new digital reading subscription from the Junior Library Guild (JLG) for students to enjoy. Much like Netfilx students will have unlimited access to rotating ebook and audio titles each month. These titles offer a wide range of selections for students from Pre-K to 8. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy the award winning selections anywhere. View the tutorial below to learn how to access this wonderful resource.
