Glen Lake News for Staff
April 15-19, 2019
-An 85 minute class block is LONG. At times, it was hard to sit for long periods, and I found myself at times looking out the window.
-There isn't a whole lot of time between class periods (2-3 minutes?) to catch up with friends. I needed to go from point A to point B rather quickly.
-The IB framework deepens the level of thinking for students and provides a continuum of achievement that students can explain and understand.
-Staying focused while having a sub is hard! In Engineering, we had to complete a self-directed assignment on Moodle, and at times had to redirect ourselves back on task!
-Our Glen Lakes students go to West prepared! I was proud to see so many of our former Grizzlies hard at work, focused, participating, and enjoying their school experience.
