Principal Update from Mr. Jones
Thank you for a great start to the year!
We are off to a great start!
We feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with you and your students. Our number one priority is to provide a safe learning place that allows all students to learn at a high level. Thank you for supporting your children and our staff!
Family Reading Night!
Our first family night is on Wednesday September 27th from 4:30-6:30pm. It will be an awesome opportunity to participate in reading activities with the whole family. All students who attend will get a small goodie bag as well as a number of fun activities to help encourage our young readers. Food will be available to purchase for families. If you are interested in helping please let our Instructional Coach Mrs. Mueller know at hmueller@caldwellschools.org
The Book Fair is September 25th-29th!
Parent Involvement Committee
We would love to invite you to our first parent involvement committee meeting on September 20th from 5:30-6:30pm. It is a great opportunity to collaborate on our school wide goals, family nights, popcorn Fridays and more. We would love to have a full house that night to make decisions that will guide our school year.
Picture Day is October 17th
Our individual picture day is scheduled on October 17th. Please look for your students picture packet as we get closer to the end of September. If you are interested in volunteering that day please reach out to Miss Monreal mmonreal@caldwellschools.org or Mrs. Pina jpina@caldwellschools.org
New Lost and Found
We have a new lost and found at Washington this year. Anything that gets left on the playground will be placed on a clothes rack by the lunchroom. Please encourage your students to look there if they happen to leave their jacket, lunchbox etc on the playground. It is also very helpful if their jackets and sweatshirts have their name on the inside tag so we can easily identify the owner.
