Coyote Creek Variety Show - Tomorrow - Friday Jan.24th
Tomorrow is the Variety Show at Ranch View Middle School at 6:00 pm. Like last year there will be no cost for admission. These kids have worked incredibly hard and it will be an amazing night. Please come support them if you can.
We kindly ask, out of respect for Ranch View and the performers, that if you bring young children please keep them with you at all times.
We will be serving small concessions for a minimal cost and will also have a donation jar that will go straight back to CCE PTO.
New DCSD Library Guidelines - For your Information
We are working to update our library collection so that all of the books that are housed there have been published in the last 5 years. Currently, only 8% of our library books meet that criterion. The average published date of our books is 2001, and we are overstocked with books. We should have 13 books for every student and currently have 26 per student.
Jane Gregory and her wonderful volunteer, Whitney Huey, have been purging the books to make room for updated materials. The old books are sent to our warehouse and recycled. Gigi gave the library $5,000 this year to purchase new books and we are hoping that with $5,000 each year over the next 5-7 years, we will have an updated library.
