Halloween Parade
Please have your child use his/her imagination to escape into the world of make believe and fun without offending or frightening others. To do this, I encourage you to think of our Halloween Parade as a procession of theater or book characters that you would want your children to portray. Violent characters and bloody and gruesome masks have no place here at school and will not be allowed.
In light of the attention regarding some of the social media posts of late, I am asking you all to avoid costumes that involve clowns.
We invite you to join us for our Halloween Parade on
Monday, October 31 at 2:30 PM.
(weather permitting)
Parking will be allowed on the playground lot at 1:45 PM. While we strongly suggest that you have your child take the bus home, for those parents who need to take their children with them at closing time, we have developed a special pick-up plan which you can find below. Please follow these directions in order to help us avoid congestion and confusion. All children not signed out at their dismissal doors will be dismissed as usual at 3:15 PM.
If you have a question, please call me. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in making this a fun day for our children.
If you are planning to pick-up your child/ren after the Halloween Parade, please help us to avoid congestion by following these steps:
1. Look on the map for the designated dismissal location of your child's teacher
2. Sign out your child on the clipboard outside the designated room
3. Wait for dismissal in front of the outside doors before 3:10PM.
Children who will go home on the bus or stay in the after school program as usual will be dismissed at 3:15PM.
