English 9

Throughout the first quarter, English students have been working together to find meaningful quotes for their literary analysis and argumentative essays. Through collaborative "quote treasure hunts", they are able to supply each other with useful evidence to generate effective writing.

We have kick started our math tutoring program at the high school!

Description: The High School Math tutoring program has started. It is a place where students can receive help from fellow peers with their math homework or study for assessment’s. Students must sign up outside room 208 in order to stay. If students want to tutor for community service hours, they may sign up with Ms. Morris (smorris@balboa.edu.pa).

On a weekly base, Rise Club go to Instituto Nuestra Señora de la Merced to teach Values and English to students.

English for Adults

NHS and RISE have joined forces to bring English for Adults to our Balboa Academy Support. On Wednesdays and Fridays after school, a group of students teach English to Balboa Academy's custodial staff and finance staff.

Juan Santiago Posada - Sports Achievement

A brief message to share with you - Juan Santiago Posada Abal's (Grade 9) 1st place, in the first national championship for Va'a 2018 (category U16), which qualifies him to represent Panama in the next South American Competition of Brazil, in November of this year.

The activity took place on Saturday, September 8 and was organized by the Panama Outrigger Club, with the collaboration of WAA Panama, Veracruz Beach (Panama).
