It's so nice to have building SUPERSTARS who are willing to help others (coaches as well as teachers). Thanks to Dave Purvis and Katie Bushard for your help with Essay Scorer and Haiku!
Also, congrats to Angela McNamara and Shanna Shelton for hitting the R on the SAMR model with your planned Skype sessions, to Julie Kissinger for your City of Stories website featuring audio files created by students and to Cynthia Basham for her student Mi Familia and Adventura presentations!

Flocabulary
Are you teaching with Flocabulary? Did you know that we have a district license for this song and video extravaganza? The Week In Rap is a great way to begin using the tool, but there's so much more! You can search for songs and videos by Common Core Standards, subject area, topics, and times of the year. Take a look at Teaching with Flocabulary and remember The Week in Rap comes in two versions, grades 5-12, and The Week in Rap Jr, grades K-5.

Digital Citizenship
Just as our students must be taught to be good citizens of our world, we also must teach them how to be good digital citizens. We now have a Digital Citizenship Website where you can find quick videos and lessons for your grade level. You can also locate this site from MVHelp. Just click on the Digital Citizenship tab! Please check out your grade level. You'll find short videos to teach BIG ideas!
