Parent and Family Engagement

March 2023

Beaverbrook Elementary

Spring is Almost Here and the End of the School Year is Quickly Approaching!

It is hard to believe that it is already March! Where has the school year gone? As we start to wrap up this school year and prepare for the 2023-2024 school year, we need you input. During the the month of March you will have multiple opportunities for input into our school improvement plan, Title I school-parent-compact, Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy, opportunities for building parent and staff capacity, and how our school spends Title I parent engagement funds. Your input is very important to us. Please consider attending one of the Title I Stakeholder Input Meetings and completing the Title I Spring Input Survey. If you are unable to attend a meeting and would like to order your input, please contact our school's parent liaison (whitley.fowler@gscs.org) to give your suggestions and recommendations.

Your Input Is Needed!

Under Title I, Part A, all stakeholders must have input into the following topics/documents:

School Parent and Family Engagement Policy

School Parent Compact

Building Staff Capacity for Family Engagement

Title I Parent and Family Engagement Budget

Our schools will be having our Title I Input Meetings on March 8th at 9:00am & 4:15pm.

The meeting is both in person and virtual. Here are the links if you would like to join virtually.
