Advent 24 Hour Adoration Thursdays, December 2, 9, 16 and 23. Prepare yourself this Advent Season by spending an hour with Jesus in Adoration! Every Thursday, Adoration is from 9am to 9pm. We are extending Adoration for 24 hours on Thursdays during Advent. We need adorers to commit to one hour of prayer (preferably for all four nights) before the Blessed Sacrament between Thursday 9pm to 8am Friday morning (December 3, 10, 17, 24). Would like two adorers per hour. Please contact Lynn Blackwell by email Lblack260@comcast.net. Please include name, email, cell number and your preferred hour of prayer. The Holy Name school Christmas program, for students in grades PreK-5, will take place on Wednesday, December 15. There will be two daytime performances. We will live stream both performances for family members that are unable to attend. Links will be provided closer to the event.

• 9:00- This performance is for guests of students in PreK- 1st grade. In order to properly space our guests, each student will be permitted two guests only.
• 1:30- This performance is for guests of students in 2nd-5th grade. In order to properly space our guests, each student will be permitted two guests only. Our 5th grade students will be permitted up to four guests, as this is their final Holy Name Christmas program.

As you begin to write your grocery list for your family's Thanksgiving meal does something seem to be missing this year? If it’s fresh apple butter made by the fifth grade art class, then look no further! This year the fifth grade art class learned how to make apple butter to help raise money for the Holy Name Art Department to gather more supplies for class. Each 8 oz jar will be $4 with all the proceeds going directly towards art supplies.

The Holy Name PTO is having a poinsettia sale. All are welcome to purchase plants for themselves and/or donate to homebound members of the parish. A variety of colors of 6" poinsettia plants are $14 and a new winter porch pot is $50. If you choose to donate a plant, the wholesale price is $8.50 and the office will choose who to deliver it to. Please see the order form for more information. Order forms and payments are due to the office no later than Monday, Nov 22nd and pick up will be Monday, Dec 13th from 2:30pm to 5:00pm in the Narthex.

My name is Rachel Parker, and I am the varsity assistant coach for the girls basketball team at Roncalli. Our CYO/Camp Night is Wednesday, November 24th against Cardinal Ritter. Coach Gray and I wanted to extend an offer for the girls who play CYO or came to our summer camp to attend our game and be recognized in between the JV and Varsity games.

Our plan is to have the girls walk out on the court and take a picture with the high school players who attended each of the corresponding grade schools. We will have the girls gather behind our bench around 6:45pm and line them up according to their school. Please have the girls wear a shirt that represents your school or their camp t-shirts.

Roncalli High School is hiring!

The Office of Institutional Advancement is seeking an individual(s) to be a part of a dynamic team. We are seeking a candidate to manage our school website (app management, day to day web updates, proficient at HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL). We are also seeking someone to do videography/video production and also do broadcast and streaming for our Roncalli Media Network. Roncalli is excited to welcome the Class of 2026 next fall! As a reminder, the Application for Admission is now available online at https://apps.roncalli.org/application. You CAN fill out the application before your student takes the High School Placement Test.

Once the application is complete and the $100 registration fee is received, you may continue the registration process. For those who have not been in a South Deanery Catholic grade school for grades seven and eight, those next steps will include scheduling an admissions interview for January 11, 12 or 13 (limited space available). For all others, it will be scheduling your appointment to meet with your student's counselor to create their freshman year schedule.
