Educating every child for confidence today and contribution tomorrow.
A Message From the Principal
Dear Families,
To begin, I want to thank our community for your support of the school levy. There are many things that need repair, updating or replacing, and this will truly help keep our schools great places to learn and grow. Thank you voters!
As we anticipate the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday, I want to remind you of a couple of things. The annual school food drive is under way. Please donate as you are able. We will deliver to the food bank twice, once next week, and once prior to winter break. We appreciate your sharing with those in our community who need a little assistance at this time. Also, please note, Wednesday the 23rd is an EARLY RELEASE DAY. School is dismissed at 11:30 am to kick-off the Thanksgiving break.
Take care and have a great weekend!

A Message From the Superintendant
Thank You Voters!
As of today the November Capital Levy is passing, and I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone in our community for their support. As we have shared before, this levy was crucial for the long-term sustainability of Dieringer's school buildings and critical infrastructure systems. We’re excited about the prospect of ensuring quality learning spaces for our students for years to come. This is an investment in our schools and our community as a whole. Pierce County Elections will certify the election on November 29th, and there will be one more set of election results released on Monday the 21st. Thank you again for supporting Dieringer’s students!
Michael Farmer
Superintendent
News From the Library
We have read several books lately about characters with interesting pets. And since Kindergarteners LOVE to share about THEIR pets, we’re making a Kindergarten Pet WALL of FAME outside the library.
Please send in a 4x6 picture of your pet with your kindergartener or email a picture of your pet to mboe@dieringer.wednet.edu and we will fill our wall with cuteness!
A Note From your DHES Counselor, Ms. Boben
If your child is in need of a warm coat for the winter, please contact DHES counselor, Mary Boben, at mboben@dieringer.wednet.edu or (253) 826-4937 no later than November 21, 2022. East Pierce Fire Fighters IAFF Local 3520 is once again graciously supplying coats for children in need.
Help for The Holidays
The holidays can be a challenging time for families who are experiencing financial struggles. Each year, the Dieringer School District counselors work with Dieringer families in need to help make the holidays brighter. If you are interested in signing up to receive Holiday Help for your children, please fill out the digital form in the link below no later than Monday December 5, 2022. All personal information is kept confidential and will only be seen by the school counselors. Please list ALL children (under the age of 18) in the household. This year, we are holding a gift card drive for parents to shop for their own children.
If you need a paper form, please contact your school counselor.
Please click the green "Help for the Holidays" link below to access the digital form.
