Riverton Elementary School
School Closure Family Resources
Riverton Families,
Happy Spring Break to each of you although this Spring Break is much different for all of us under these unusual circumstances. Our Faculty and Staff have created a series of 5 videos for each day of Spring Break with messages to our families. Please check out the RES Facebook Page for these daily videos. I have posted the first one below for you to see.
Please check our video below for our week-long DreamBox Challenge. We will continue to have Mystery Guest Readers on our RES Facebook Page at 8 pm Monday-Friday during Spring Break in order to help your child continue to connect to school in some way during this closure. We hope you and your child have enjoyed the challenges and activities, as we sure have enjoyed seeing all of your photos and comments!
As I am sure you have heard by now, Governor Ivey announced a new direction for all Alabama schools for the duration of this school year. Our district leaders are working hard to figure out all of the details of how this will impact us moving forward. As soon as I know more about the details of the plan, I will communicate this with you.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. hjames@madison.k12.al.us
