Welcome to the Prairie Point Panther Press!
P.E. News
Wow, did we have a fantastic movie mania field day! The students had a blast, the 75 volunteers made the stations fun and the weather cooperated. I would like to give a special thank you to Lisa Eloe and Rachelle Stoller, they were an immense help to the success of field day.
We lucked out again with weather for Panthers on the Run! The 5th grade ran a total of 414 miles. This was our 10th year doing this event and the students bring their best effort each and every time. The 25 volunteer coaches did a great job keeping the students motivated, tracking the miles and joining in on the run.

News from the Nurse's office
As a reminder, all medication stored in the health office must be picked up by the end of the school year. Any medication not picked up by a parent or adult will be disposed of on Friday June 9, 2017.
Attached is the Medication Authorization Form for the 2017-2018 school year. We must have this form, signed by the physician and parent or guardian, on file at school in order to begin giving medications at the start of the school year.
If your child is bringing medication for allergies, please also complete and sign the attached allergy emergency plan.
If your child is bringing medication for asthma, please also complete the attached asthma emergency plan.
If your child will be carrying their emergency medications with them, we still need all forms completed and on file in the health office.
Medications and forms can be dropped off at the Nurse’s Office before the first day of school. If you have any questions, please contact the Nurse’s Office at 636-3602.
Sincerely,
Dominique Acuff RN, BSN
Prairie Point Building Nurse
Students going into 6th Grade
Please remember that students going into 6th grade need an annual health history form filled out, completed immunization documents and a current physical turned in PRIOR to schedule pick up in the fall. If any of these forms are not turned in, the student will NOT be allowed to pick up their schedule and will not be able to start school until all these forms are turned in.
Please also make sure the parent portion on the top of the physical is completed and signed.
If you already have these things completed for next year, they can be turned in to Prairie Point now.
