Principal's Message
ELK Family,
Semester Exams are this week (Bell Schedule). Exam exemptions are not attendance exemptions. Students who are absent on the day of an exam will receive a zero until the exam is made up. Exams may not be taken early. Students may make up exams on January 8. All make up exams must be completed by January 12. If you have questions about exams, contact your child's house office.
All BISD offices will be closed December 25 - January 5. Regular business hours resume January 8. School resumes January 9.
BHS values parent feedback! Please take a few minutes to complete this parent survey!
I hope you have nice winter break! Enjoy the time with family and friends. The Elk Call will resume on January 8.
GO ELKS!

Do you want to win a CAR?
Students, how would you like to drive a new Nissan Sentra? You could be the lucky winner of a new car if you participate in the Burleson High School, STRIVE-TO-DRIVE program. Here’s how:
- Students must be enrolled in the Burleson ISD for the entire 6 week grading period.
- Students may earn 1 ticket per 6 weeks for perfect attendance.
- Students may earn 4 BONUS tickets per semester for perfect attendance (Fall & Spring).
- Students may earn 10 BONUS tickets for the year for perfect attendance.

A Nissan Sentra will be awarded in May, at halftime, of the BHS Powder Puff football game.
**The district will utilize state guidelines for reporting average daily attendance to determine perfect attendance contest eligibility.**
