Tell us about your Family/Pets
I'm the youngest of four siblings. My parents are both amazing people that led by example by being involved in community engagement. They displayed a deep sense of professionalism, integrity, and love for all people. I only hope to emulate their example and to continue to love and respect everyone. I have a dog, Spice, and she is a mutt. I think she's part dachshund and beagle but I'm not sure.
Hobbies/Interests
My deepest passion is a love for Jesus Christ and to follow his example of loving people. We might not agree on everything, but showing deep empathy and love fuels me. Other hobbies include watching movies! Star Wars, anything Marvel or DC, Harry Potter, and Christian movies. I also enjoy bowling, hiking, and coloring. Yes, Coloring! And not the adult coloring books, the basic inexpensive coloring books, with dinosaurs, princesses, and superheroes.

Tell us about your community involvement outside of Knox
I'm an active member of Full Gospel Church, member of our local NAACP, and volunteer with the Streak Dad's program, participant in a Men's Ministry program called Fight Club (and no, it's not that Fight Club, haha), and a participant in a youth ministry program called THE WEEKEND. I'm also a member of the school District #205 Improvement Team and serve the University of Illinois Extension – Unit #10 as an advisor.
What is your favorite Knox College Memory?
Hmm. That's tough. Seeing the ABLE 50th this year at homecoming was amazing. Even though I'm not an alumni, I've felt so welcomed by our Black Alumni Associations and this homecoming was fantastic. True networks and recruiting connections have developed into deep friendships and mutual respect.
