His Life
Shakespeare lived to 52. He was born in April 1564, and died on April 23rd 1616. He had seven siblings, and 3 children. He married his wife, Anne Hathaway, when he was 18. Shakespeare died a rich man, when he died he left his property to his daughter.
His Creations
Shakespeare wrote 37 plays and 154 works that we know of. His plays are made up of 884,429 words. He introduced almost 3,000 words into the English language. He is the second most quoted writer in the English dictionary.
