The March-to-May Interruption
Here are some upsides! Now is the chance to see how they do on their own, with you as their coach and cheerleader. Several of you have commented that some students are surprising you with their independence. Remember at the opening faculty meeting, one of our goals was to create independent learners? Well, how did you do? It seems that as I read the daily reports you make, they are doing well! Please don't stress too much about those who are not participating. Just keep encouraging them. This situation is not their fault. You cannot do anything about what they do at home any more than you did when they were in your class. Our job is to provide opportunities for them to keep learning and growing. You are doing that. Thank you for being the amazing people you are. We can do this!
Please share with me some of the things you are doing to entice kids to join you! I heard that there was a fun Flat Stanley task out there! I've heard of fun class meetings. Heather and I joined a Zoom meeting for Kindergarten last week. I'd love to be invited to join some of your activities.

Upload Weekly Lesson Outline to TEAMS
Please upload your weekly lesson plan to TEAMS. This helps us as we get phone calls or emails about what kids are supposed to do. It also gives us quick accountability in case we are audited.
