ROCORI SECONDARY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER
NOVEMBER 19
NO SCHOOL NOV. 25TH & 26TH
TRIMESTER 1/TERM 2 ENDS DEC. 3RD
INCLEMENT WEATHER
We can all feel that indeed winter is coming, and we want families to be prepared for the potential for a school cancellation due to inclement weather. Our goal on these days will be to provide flexible options that can still engage our students via technology, but we will not be expecting them to be on a screen the entire day between 8:00 am – 3:00 pm either.
If the Superintendent cancels schools due to inclement weather, families will receive a skyward alert by 6:00 am informing them the day is an E-Learning Day. Staff will have items placed on Schoology by 8:30 am. High School students will have approximately 30 minutes of engaged time for each class in their day and middle school students will have approximately 20 minutes of engaged time for each class in their day on an inclement weather day. Staff will be available to respond to email and Microsoft Teams messages between 9:00 am – 2:30 pm.

HEALTH OFFICE INFORMATION
Update Vaccinations:
If you have had any new vaccinations since last school year, please send that information to Missy Boucher in the Health Office so we can update your student file.
If your student has received the COVID vaccine, and you are willing to share that information, you can send a picture of your vaccination card to Mrs. Boucher. This would assist us in effectively and efficiently contact tracing within our building. Sharing this information with our school health office would be voluntary.

ALL NIGHT GRADUATION PARTY
Hello 2022 Senior parents,
We need your help in planning one of the biggest events for your high school seniors, the “All-Night Graduation Party”!
INFORMATIONAL MEETING
When: Monday, November 22, 6PM
Where: Media Center, ROCORI High School
The all-night graduation party is a special night for your seniors following their high school graduation ceremony in May in which they get to hang out with their classmates, feast on amazing food, participate in carnival type games and win some amazing prizes. In 2021, we were able to give out over $11,000 in donated prizes. The all-night graduation party has been a long-standing tradition at ROCORI and we would like to assure this continues for our 2022 graduates.
This event is made possible by parents! So, we need each one of you! Please consider joining us for an information meeting to learn about this fun event and how you can get involved no matter your time limits.
We realize this is short notice, if you are unable to attend but are willing to help or simply want to learn more about this amazing event, please, email, text or call us directly. We want to make this transition to the next class an easy and fun process. Email: seniorallnightgraduationparty@gmail.com
Thank you in advance for your willingness to assist,
Kimberly Thielen Cremers, 763-221-4746
Michelle Orth, 320-493-2500
