STANWOOD HIGH SCHOOL
FAMILY UPDATE FOR WEEK OF JANUARY 4TH, 2021
SHS VISION STATEMENT
Stanwood Spartans are united in cultivating character, modeling respect, teaching leadership and connecting to community.
UPDATE ON NEW SCHOOL BUILDING
Over winter break we have been busy unpacking equipment and boxes in the new school building. We are excited about the new building and all it will offer for students, families, staff, and the community.
For January 4th-15th, students and families will need to park in the Ag parking lot (back parking lot of our old school) and walk along the path to the front of the new school building. Parents/guardians can screen themselves in but students need to be screened in by a staff member. We have a screening table just inside the front doors.

SNOW DAY/INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE
If we experience inclement weather on a school day, learning will not stop for Stanwood High School. Every Thursday morning at 7:10 a.m., teachers drop work in their Google Classrooms for the students. The expectation is that students will continue to work on assignments that were already delivered.
**The teachers will hold Google Meets if power and connectivity permits. We will still be able to count the day as a school day as long as students have assignments available.
