Background Info.
- After the fall of the Qing Dynasty in 1911, the central government was unable to maintain effective control over it's people. Two political parties arose to help unify the nation.
- 1924-
- 1925: Sun Yat-Sen passes and Chiang Kai-Shek is voted his successor
- 1927-
- The Chinese Civil War as a conflict between two political organizations, the nationalists and the chinese communists, who were competing for legitamacy as the sovereign government of China from 1927 to 1949.
