Dear Parents,
The end of the year is here! Please be sure to return all library books as our inventory begins next week. If it is truly lost, please pay the cost before the end of the year. A paper will be coming home letting you know how much it costs. Thanks in advance.

Texas 2x2 Voting was a big success for Kinder-second grade!!
"Texas Reads one Book" program
All students in grades 3-4 received a copy of Charlotte's Web. Did you enjoy reading together at home? Our final chapter trivia questions will be on the morning announcements May 11th.

Our library is a busy place
We use our iPads for research and then sharing that work.
Second grade students researched and then we recorded them reading their work. Other students used the Aurasma app to scan the front page and the video pops up! We are sharing work in a unique way.

We promote reading and connecting with others.
We will be doing this again this year! Ask your K-2 students about the Texas 2x2 award. This week begins the voting. They will be voting for their favorite among the 20 books using Padlet to vote as a class. It is so fun and engaging!

Summer REading
The public library (Robinson-Westhchase branch) offers so many fun summer activities as well as the opportunity to check out books and keep reading skills up where they need to be. Please be on the lookout for paperwork to come home detailing these events.
